A bit about me
I was born in Germany in 1956, graduated as a dentist and naturopath, and ran my private clinic for 14 years. In 1996, I moved to the United States. Because my German dental degree wasn't recognized, I completed the foreign-trained dentist program at the University of Pennsylvania. I settled into a practice in Durango that became fully dedicated to orthodontics β using the ALF (Alternative Lightwire Functional) appliance as my primary modality.
After 41 years of clinical practice, I closed my clinic in the fall of 2021 to focus on what I love most: training dentists in ALF therapy and teaching mothers about opportunities to foster their children's jaw and facial development.
